Sobha Greater Noida

Greater Noida is a planned city located in the Gautam Buddha Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh, India. Established as a satellite city of Noida, it is part of the National Capital Region (NCR) and serves as an important hub for industrial, commercial, and residential development in the region. Greater Noida is situated approximately 30 kilometers southeast of New Delhi, the national capital. It is bounded by Noida to the northwest, Delhi to the west, and the district of Aligarh to the east. The city is strategically located along the Yamuna Expressway, which connects it to Agra, and is also well-served by roadways and the proposed metro network. Greater Noida was established in 1991 with the vision of creating a well-planned urban area to accommodate the growing population and industrial needs of the NCR. The city is managed by the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA), which is responsible for planning, infrastructure development, and land allocation. Greater Noida hosts numerous manufacturing units, IT companies, and educational institutions. It is known for its automotive and electronics industries, with several major companies having established their facilities here. The presence of large-scale industrial parks and special economic zones (SEZs) has further contributed to the city’s economic growth.

Transportation Hubs: The Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) inaugurated metro services in Greater Noida on January 25, 2019, marking a significant milestone in the project initially announced in 2013. The metro primarily traverses the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. As of November 2022, construction has commenced for the Greater Noida West extension. Proposed routes include connectivity from Sector 51 in Noida to Boraki Railway Station, an extension from Sector 51 to Knowledge Park V and further to Boraki, and a line from Knowledge Park-II to the Noida International Airport in Jewar. Additionally, the metro will facilitate access to the forthcoming YIEDA city. The Yamuna Expressway is a major thoroughfare linking Greater Noida with Agra, while the upcoming metro lines are expected to enhance connectivity with Delhi and other parts of the NCR. Additionally, the city’s location near the Delhi-Meerut Expressway provides further access to surrounding regions.

Educational Institution: The city boasts institutions and schools like the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi’s Noida campus, Sharda University, and the Amity University campus, Delhi Public School, Greater Valley School, Ryan International School which attract students and researchers from across the country and abroad. These institutions play a significant role in fostering education, research, and innovation.
